Our client is looking for an experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructures for complex, data-intensive programs. In this role, you will develop robust data models, ensure compliance with industry standards, and create reliable systems for managing large and diverse data sources.
Your responsibilities
Plan, design, and manage the overall data architecture for a large-scale program
Develop data models and structures for efficient storage, retrieval, and management of large datasets
Integrate multiple data sources and implement interfaces for seamless data exchange
Maintain and optimize data throughout its entire lifecycle
Ensure high data quality, compliance with relevant standards, and appropriate access controls
Implement processing and analytics systems to extract value from data
Ensure scalability and performance to meet future program needs and growing volumes
Monitor and enhance availability, reliability, and resilience of the data infrastructure
Collaborate closely with other architects to align solutions with the overall system design
Your profile
Degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
Several years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and/or data management
Proven track record in handling large-scale, complex data environments
Experience with DevOps and modern software delivery practices
Strong analytical mindset, proactive approach, and hands-on mentality
Excellent communication skills and confidence in stakeholder management
Business-fluent English skills; German knowledge is an advantage
