Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain a secure and resilient platform for hosting cyber training applications.
Develop scripts and modules for software applications, components, and interfaces.
Ensure that development, testing, and production environments are properly set up, including required networking for applications.
Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security, addressing potential issues and ensuring SLA compliance.
Collaborate with DevOps and System Engineering teams to align infrastructure with application needs and implement CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain comprehensive system documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility of all architectures, processes, and configurations.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, vocational qualification as an IT specialist, or equivalent relevant experience in platform or application development.
Strong expertise in virtualization and containerization technologies such as Proxmox, VMware, KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Enthusiasm for automation, with practical experience using tools like Ansible and/or Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Bash) for infrastructure automation.
Experience with hyper-converged systems and storage solutions such as Minio is a plus.
Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented working style.
Excellent English language skills required; German language skills are a plus.
